Migration

Legacy bundles may carry fields that predate v0.2 conventions. The v0.1 → v0.2 Migrator transforms known patterns:

  • timestamp → generated.at (with a producer you supply for generated.by).
  • confirmed → a machine-confirmed verified entry.
  • URL-only citations lists → sources entries, when the transformation is unambiguous.

Because generated.by is required when using generated, the migrator asks you to specify a producer whenever it can't be inferred safely — it never guesses silently. Every migration shows a diff before you accept it, and nothing is deleted unless you apply the change.
